| Matt Clark (5-9, 170) was listed #1 after spring at the CB position opposite cousin Matt Ware. An aggressive hitter, Clark appeared in 11 games as a sophomore in 2002, missing two with injuries, while also contributing as a kickoff returner, where he excelled as a true freshman in 2001. A solid spring enabled Clark to move ahead of Marcus Cassell, after he tallied 7 tackles in 2002, including one for loss. He has averaged 23.8 yards a kickoff return in his career. |
