| Biography: |
Started the season the #1 QB ahead of All Conference senior Brian Lindgren. The team struggled offensively, and Mike eventually lost the starting job to Brian. Played in 9 games total, completing 46% of this passes (90 completions) for 996 yards, with 4 interceptions, 5 TDs, and a long of 44 yards (efficiency rating of 92.94). Mike is also the holder on fieldgoal attempts.
2002 - Idaho:
Battled for the #2 QB position all season. as a redshirt freshman and backup to starter Brian Lindgren, Michael played in 4 games, including starting the second to last game of the season after Brian suffered a season ending injury. His best outing came in the last game (35-31 loss to NMSU) where he threw for 219 yards, going 20 of 35 with 2 TDs and 2 INTs. Played in 4 games for the year, completed 47% of his passes for 272 yards (27 completions), with 6 interceptions and 2 TDs (long of 20 yards).
2001 - Idaho:
Signed with Idaho in February, redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL
One of the most heralded recruits of the 2001 class, Harrington earned the Mt. Hood Conference's (Oregon) Most Valuable Offensive Player award as a senior. A 2 year starter at Portland's Central Catholic High School, Harrington threw for 2,900 yards (38 TDs, 11 picks) as a senior and 1,800 yards as a junior. He earned 2nd Team All-State honors as a senior. Harrington was also an honor roll student throughout his highschool career. |
