NOTEABLE: Ray Guy watch list (2002)
"Boomer", as he's known by many Vandal fans, has been Idaho's punter since his true freshman season in Coach Cable's first recruiting class (2000). Last year he averaged almost 42 yards per punt, boomed 12 kicks over 50 yards, and had 17 downed inside the opponents 20 yard line.
A special teams weapon going into 2003, Ryan has been one of Idaho's most consistent performers.
