Rod joined the Vandals in 2002 as a JC transfer and earned an immediate starting job at cornerback. A fixture last season, he started all 12 games, made 51 tackles, 2 interceptions and 7 pass breakups.
As a senior in 2003, Rod will be looked to as a defensive leader on a defensive backfield for Idaho with more solid depth and experience than they've had in recent years. |
