| Going into the 2002 season, many Buckeye fans didn't quite know what to expect as far as the quarterback situation goes. What they got was a player who proved to be one of college football's toughest competitors and true leaders. Craig Krenzel came to OSU from Ford High School in Utica, Michigan back in 1999, and after waiting his turn, he became the Buckeye starter as a junior and guided OSU to an undefeated season. Krenzel possesses underrated passing ability as well as great playmaking ability, excellent decision making, and a knack to burn opposing defenses with his legs. Craig went 148 for 249 with 2,110 yards and 12 TDs with 7 INTs in 2002 and also rushed for 368 yards on 125 attempts. He has perhaps the most famous major on the team - Molecular Genetics.
