| Biography: |
| One of the top running backs in the nation as a prep senior, Maurice Drew (5-8, 195) comes to UCLA from national prep champion Concord De La Salle. The State RB of the Year last season, Drew will compete for the #2 tailback slot behind Tyler Ebell, and could also see significant action at special teams. As a senior, Drew ran for 1,457 yards and 26 TD's as De La Salle ran their winning streak to 138 games. Drew burst onto the scene as a junior in #1 De La Salle's highly anticipated showdown with #2 Long Beach Poly, when he scored all four of DLS' touchdowns to beat Poly. |
