Averaged 8.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game during his senior season in 2001 for a balanced Garfield attack. The Bulldogs finished with a 27-2 record in 2001 and was ranked No. 1 in the state for most of the season on the strength of a 23-game winning streak ... Shattered the state tournament record with 21 blocked shots, eclipsing the previous record of 17 established by Rob Corkrum of Shadle Park in 1990 ... Single-handedly broke the previous team record of 20 blocks set by Lake Washington in 1995. His 21 blocks helped Garfield push the new team tournament record to 26 ... Averaged 11.5 points and 8.5 rebounds during the state tournament, helping Garfield to a fifth-place state finish. The Bulldogs won their final three tournament games after suffering an 85-82 double-overtime loss to Foss in the first round of the state tournament ...
