High School: A 1999 graduate of Skyline High School in Oakland, CA...attended the same high school as NBA point guard, Gary Payton...had 30 tackles and five interceptions as a senior...racked up 40 tackles and five interceptions as a junior...rated the No. 6 defensive back in the west by PrepStar...named to SuperPrep’s preseason All-Far West team...a second-team Cal-Hi Sports All-State selection...second-team member of Long Beach Press-Telegram “Best in the West” squad.

College: Redshirted the 1999 season...failed to appear in any games in 2000 or 2001...is a deep reserve at safety heading into the 2002 season.
