| A three-time letterwinner at tailback ... will push for starting time in the backfield ... can also play fullback ... has proven to be a very effective runner during his game appearances ... versatile athlete who is a reliable pass catcher out of the backfield. 2001: Carried four times for 61 yards and a score in Huskies’ 55-3 win over Idaho, including a career-long 41-yard run, Washington’s longest of the 2001 season … helped UW rush for season-best 212 yards against the Vandals … broke his collarbone in the first half against Idaho and missed the rest of the season … was granted an injury redshirt and will return for the 2002 season. 2000: Began the season as a reserve tailback before being used both at tailback and fullback following an injury to starter Pat Conniff ... started one game at fullback, against Cal, carrying three times for seven yards ... moved back to starting tailback in Huskies’ final game at Washington State, earning the coaches’ offensive MVP award with 15 carries for 105 yards and a score in Washington’s 51-3 win ... also named the Columbia Bank/KOMO Radio player of the game for the WSU game ... also caught two passes for 39 yards in that game ... started Washington’s 34-24 Rose Bowl win over Purdue, taking an option pitch for the Huskies’ first score of the game ... finished with five carries for 11 yards and a score ... one of four Husky backs to average over 5.0 yards per carry in 2000 (minimum 45 carries) ... was tied for fourth in receptions, catching 11 passes for 107 yards on the season ... went three yards for opening score in Huskies’ 34-29 win over No. 4 Miami ... had a career-long 25-yard reception against the Hurricanes to set up Huskies’ third touchdown ... caught a career-high four passes for 20 yards in 17-14 win at Colorado ... racked up 40 yards of total offense with 29 rushing and 11 receiving yards against UCLA ... broke upfield for season-best 28-yard gain at Oregon. 1999: Slowed by several injuries during the season … appeared in five games and recorded his first career start vs. Colorado … missed the final four regular-season games of the year after suffering a partially collapsed lung in loss to Arizona State … rushed for 100 yards on 11 carries against Air Force … scored his only TD in win vs. the Falcons … selected the Columbia Bank Husky Player of the Game for his efforts against Air Force … suffered a bruised hip against Colorado that forced him out of the Oregon game.1998: Made Husky debut in season-opener at Arizona State ... did not carry the ball in a game until the Nebraska contest ... one of eight true freshmen to see playing time ... longest run of season was a 22-yard scoring rush against UCLA ... finished with 100 yards vs. the Bruins ... finished third on the team with 237 yards and three touchdowns ... two of his scoring runs came vs. UCLA ... one of four Huskies to rush for two TDs in a game during the season ... Bruins contest also saw him carry the ball a season-high 16 times ... scored two TDs in Oahu Bowl vs. Air Force ... that tied a UW bowl record that he now shares with five other former Huskies ... carried the ball nine times for 18 yards in bowl contest.
