| Veteran on Husky receiving corps ... slowed last season due to shoulder injury ... a talented singer ... a solid tackler on the Husky special teams ... rated the all-time, 25th-best athlete from Alaska by Sports Illustrated. 2001: An honorable mention Academic All-Pac-10 selection … had 10-plus receptions for second-consecutive season … appeared in all 12 games as the backup to Reggie Williams at wide receiver … finished the season with 10 catches for 142 yards … helped the Husky passing attack rank second in the conference, and 16th in the nation at 279.5 yards per game … set career-high with 14.2 yards per catch … had best game receiving in 31-28 come-from-behind victory at Cal, making three catches for 43 yards … equaled season-high with three catches in 31-28 win over Arizona … also netted multiple receptions against USC and UCLA … aggravated a dislocated shoulder in Huskies’ 42-28 win over No. 10 Stanford … returned to play the following week at Oregon State, and earned first-career fumble-recovery on a muffed kickoff. 2000: Started the first two games at wide receiver ... appeared in Huskies’ 17-14 win at Colorado, making eventual winning touchdown reception in the third quarter ... first touchdown of career ... tallied just one catch in the Huskies’ next four games, sitting out Oregon game with an irregular heartbeat ... came back in a big way at Stanford ... did not appear in game until final drive, making an acrobatic 31-yard reception in a driving rain to set up game-winning touchdown in the final minute ... shared weekly offensive MVP honors for his performance ... made acrobatic 19-yard TD reception at Washington State in Huskies’ 51-3 win ... had one catch for seven yards in Huskies’ 34-24 Rose Bowl win ... five receptions for 59 yards against Idaho were both career-highs. 1999: Did not play against BYU and Air Force, but appeared in every other game during the season ... was named the KOMO Radio Co-Outstanding Special Teams Player of the Year along with Curtis Williams. 1998: Redshirted the season.
