High School: Played in the 1999 Big Buckeye All- Star Football Game following his senior season at Columbus South...in 1999, earned second-team All-State honors from the Columbus Dispatch-Agonis...was a Central Ohio Super 25 pick...notched first-team all-city, all-district and second-team All-Metro honors...was selected to play in the Central District All-Star Game...also competed in basketball and track for South...originally signed a national letter of intent with Eastern Michigan out of high school in 1999...attended Fork Union Military Academy during 1999-2000 academic year before enrolling at Coffeyville Community College.
Coffeyville CC: Helped team to a 7-4 record in 2001, including a 49-14 win over Navarro in the Heart of Texas Bowl...had an 80-yard TD catch in that game...played on a team that averaged more than 320 rushing yards per game...helped Ravens lead conference in scoring with 42 points per game...ranked 84th in SuperPrep's ratings of the top junior-college athletes...a second team all-conference pick as a sophomore at Coffeyville...played in six regular-season games and had 18 receptions for 357 yards and three scores...averaged 19.8 yards per catch and was fifth in the conference with 59.5 yards per game average.
