2006: Lemma is among the most experienced players on the team, sharing the team mark for consecutive starts with 23...a strong player who should again be among the regulars on the defensive line, specifically at end.

2005: Lemma accounted for 31 tackles, including 4.5 for loss and two sacks...a career-high six tackles against Stanford and five at California and UCLA...started all 11 games...forced a fumble against Boise State and UCLA...forced and recovered a Marshawn Lynch (Cal RB) fumble at the Cal 6-yard line...also recovered an Isaiah Stanback (UW QB) fumble at the Beaver 10-yard line.

2004: Joe stared all 12 games and totaled 15 tackles for the season...a season-high five tackles at Boise State...three tackles at Arizona and two vs. Notre Dame in the Insight Bowl...recorded one-half sack against Boise State and Stanford...recovered Washington quarterback Isaiah Stanback’s fumble on a Bill Swancutt sack, leading to a Beaver field goal late in the game.

2003: Joe played in all 13 games, mainly on special teams...made 11 tackles for the season...had three tackles against Arizona and two against Stanford and New Mexico in the Las Vegas Bowl.

2002: Lemma redshirted after enrolling at OSU in January of 2002...originally signed a letter of intent in February of 2001.
