| Biography: |
| After suffering what appeared to be a career-threatening neck injury, Pitre instead became the Bruins chief blocking fullback, and was a major part of Maurice Drew's school-record rushing day against Washington. Pitre was an honorable mention all Pac-10 selection as a redshirt freshman in 2004 and was the Bruins winner of the Jerry Long "Heart" Award. On the season, Pitre had 10 catches for 128 yards and scored a touchdown against Arizona and added a 47-yard reception from Maurice Drew against San Diego State. Also had two carries for four yards, but his main responsibility is to block for the Bruin tailbacks. One of the unsung heroes of the Bruin offense. |
