2005: Wooden has tremendous speed and athleticism to make an impact. There are a lot of bodies at corner, but both CB spots are open as is the nickel back spot. He played very well in the handful of minutes during the Insight.com bowl. We expect Wooden will see a lot of playing time at corner this year and think he will fill one of the openings.
2004: Wooden saw his first game action in the opener against BYU. Recorded his first tackle against Michigan in game two and made his first appearance on defense against Washington.
2003: Did not play as a freshman WR. He was slowed by an early injury.
High School: Scout ranked him the #14 CB. Played in U.S. Army All-America game. Ranked 67th on ESPN top 100. Rushed for 1,635 yards and 22 touchdowns and threw for 1,127 yards and 13 TDs. Career totals of 4,033 rushing yards and 46 TDs, plus 3,228 passing yards and 30 TDs. Set Maryland state record with his 7,261 career total offense yards. Also handled punting and kicking for Gilman. Played Baseball. From the same school as fellow recruit Victor Abiamiri.
