2005: Fasano is the best combination TE on the team. He's an outstanding blocker and has soft hands. He isn't fast, but he has a knack for finding the open spot in the defense and he runs good routes. At this stage in his career he is being compared with former Irish great, Mark Bravaro...Expect Anthony to have another solid season and with the potential to hit the 40 reception mark.
2004: Fasano started nine games and was one of Notre Dame's most consistent players in 04'. When the team faced a critical down, they often looked to Anthony. He was second on the team in receptions (27) and second in receiving TDs (4). Caught a career high 8 passes for 155 yards against Purdue. Caught TD passes against Washington(2), Tennessee and Oregon St.
2003: Fasano was one of the few bright spots for the Irish in 03'. He played in 11 games, starting 3 (Pitt, BC and Syr). Fasano was #4 in receptions(18) and receiving yards(162)...He missed the Navy game due to a back injury. Anthony caught his first career pass against Michigan and his first career TD came against USC, in a game where he caught 4 passes for 33 yards.
2002: Did not play as a freshman.
High School: Insiders #9 ranked TE. Played in U.S. Army All America Bowl. First-team New Jersey all state pick. Played TE and DL. As a senior, caught 78 passes for 1,460 yards and 23 TDs. For his career, he caught 42 TDs passes. Played basketball, baseball and track.
