Beach’s Bits: Seattle U Post-Mortem

The Battle in Seattle turned out to be a tale of two halves Friday night, as the Huskies overcame a dismal first half to beat crosstown rival Seattle University. Despite the 63-48 victory, the Huskies remain a work in progress after suffering a mixed shooting night from a backcourt that still hasn’t jelled.

Predictions are out! (USA TODAY Sports)

DAWGMAN.COM PREDICTIONS

The Washington Huskies lost a heartbreaker in the desert, 27-26 to the Arizona Wildcats, and with the loss was their last good chance at a quality win. Now it's time to win the last two games of the season, starting with the Oregon State Beavers. What does the staff think of Saturday night's affair at Husky Stadium?

Huskies Outlast Redhawks 63-48

Shawn Kemp doesn’t really remember seeing his Dad play at Key Arena, but if any younger Washington fans wanted a glimpse into what it must have been like seeing the Reign Man play 20 years ago, they saw it Friday. Kemp scored 12 points, helping lead the Huskies to a 63-48 win over Seattle University.

A View From Corvallis

It's that time of the week again; time to get the final word on Washington's opponent. This week it's the Oregon State Beavers, and Beaverfootball.com's Jim Phillips was kind enough to answer our questions as the Beavers travel north to face the Huskies Saturday night at Husky Stadium.

By-The-Numbers: Oregon State

By-The-Numbers is back! And we thought we'd be dealing with numbers of a different kind in the desert, but instead it was the subtraction that killed Washington's hopes of an upset. Now they're back at Husky Stadium hoping the digits fall in their favor against Oregon State.
