Paramount DT Matuaa Brown commits to Huskies

Washington picked up commit number four on Wednesday when Paramount (Ca.) DT/OL Maataua Brown decided to end things early in the recruiting process and pledge to the Huskies. Dawgman.com was able to speak with Paramount head coach Matt Howard about things and he raved about his athleticism, intensity and strenght among other things.

" Washington was real persistent in their recruitment of Ma," Howard told Dawgman.com shortly after running his players through a workout. "He's taking part in track so we don't see him much in our workouts right now, but the guy is an outstanding athlete -- he's rated the number one discus competitor in the state -- and he's just a big, physical freak of nature for us down here."
