Day regains eligibility; will play on road

Dawgman.com learned this afternoon through the Washington athletic department that Jeffrey Day, a 6-9 forward for the UW men's basketball team, has had his eligibility restored and he will be with the team this weekend as they travel south for games with Arizona and Arizona State.

Day missed the last three games in which the Huskies went 2-1. During the first 8 games in which he was eligible, Day averaged 6.5 points and 5.0 rebounds, including 6 games as a starter.

The Huskies play the Arizona State Sun Devils Thursday January at 5:30pm and on Saturday, January 11th against Arizona at 4:00pm. Both games will be televised through Fox Sports Northwest.
