In last year's state playoffs Union (Camas, Wa.) WR Mitch Saylor vaulted onto the scene of college football recruiters who are intrigued by his size (6-5, 195) and playmaking abilities. This weekend Saylor and his Union teammates are focused on earning a state berth in the basketball playoffs, but he took a slight detour on Saturday when he visited Montlake to take in Washington's Junior Day...

"It was a great time," Saylor said as he relaxed in his hotel room in Tacoma before his 8 o'clock game against Lakes. "I got to meet with coach (Steve) Sarkisian and with the new receivers coach (Jimmie Dougherty) and I think both of them would be great guys to play for.
