Chad Macklin update

Chad Macklin is a 6-8, 270-pound weak tackle prospect from Visalia (Calif.) Golden West, and he just returned from an official visit to Washington State, where he a real thriller in the Palouse, a 29-26 win by the Washington Huskies in triple overtime. Macklin is being recruited by both the Huskies and Cougars. Did that cause any loyalty issues during the game?

"I just watched the game," Macklin told Dawgman.com tonight. "Both teams were really good and I was cheering for both of them in my head. But since I was sitting with the players that were redshirting, I had to root for the Washington State. That atmosphere at the game was incredible.
