Fresh off calling that dominating victory against Oregon State, the Dawgman.com Super Computer, nested deep in the heart of the Washington campus, has crunched all the numbers to find a Husky sweep of the state of Oregon looms on Saturday.
Would things be any sweeter than this?
That's right Dawg faithful, it could be safe to start thinking about a bowl game, because the numbers point to a sixth victory waiting in Eugene before the Apple Cup, Nov. 23.
Why will Duck fans be left crying? The Dawgman.com Super Computer points out:
-
Zero
times in history that
Washington
has lost to
Oregon
in a year ending in a "2". The Huskies are 6-0-3 going back to 1912's 30-14 spanking. Just go ask the two old guys at the U-district barber shop. They'll tell you the '12 game wasn't even as close as the score.
-
Nine
of sixteen times the Huskies have gambled on fourth down...they've succeeded.
-
Sixteen
of 22 field goals made by
John Anderson
.
-
Twenty-five
straight years Washington football teams have won at least six games.
-
Fifty-six
is the number of all-time victories Washington has against Oregon. The Ducks only have emerged with 33 victories and both teams tied five times. That leaves Washington with an all-time head-to-head winning percentage of .622.
-
Sixty-nine
more first downs this season for the UW offense.
-
Seventy-five
total tackles for
Marquis Cooper
, and to be fair,
Ben Mahdavi
has 74 and counting.
-
Eighty-eight
points scored by Washington in the fourth quarter so far. Dawg defenders have held the opposition to 58 points in the final period.
-
303
points scored by Washington this season; opponents have only scored 268.
-
439
more points Washington has scored than Oregon in the all-time match-up.
-
694
more yards in total offense so far for the Husky offense.
-
1,023
receiving yards and counting for
Reggie Williams
. RW has taken eight passes into the end zone and is rumored to love Duck hunting.
-
3,502
passing yards and counting for
Cody Pickett
. Cody's completion percentage stands at 60.1, with 21 TDs in the air and a QB rating of 133.72.
Folks laughed when these numbers were crunched before the OSU game and look what happened. If you saw our super computer, you would laugh, too, but it sure did the trick against the pesky Beavers.
