Jonathan Solomon says his parents are going to support any decision he makes, but admits that they…
Solomon still has Huskies at the top
"Washington has talked to me about visiting the week after that, but I really wanted to get up there to see the Apple Cup so I'm going to call coach (Trent) Miles and see what's up and if I can go up that game.
"If I don't get up for that game, then I will probably go up there on the 8th or 15th of December so it's kinda up in the air right now."
Leuzinger lost to Culver City in the first round of the playoffs this past weekend so now Solomon said he'll get ready to concentrate on picking a school from his handful of offers.
"I can't believe my high school career is over," Solomon said. "I'm looking forward to college, but man, it's weird to think it's over."
"Washington, Boise State, Colorado State and Oregon were my offers before my season and now Oregon State, Washington State, Virginia and Boston College have also sent me offers.
"I just got the BC and Virginia offers in the mail a week or so ago and Washington State and Oregon State offered me a couple of weeks ago too."
With all those offers, Solomon said the Huskies still remain his top school.
"The Huskies have been my number one for a while," Solomon noted. "They're a good program and they have some really good young players, but they need more good young players and that's where guys like me and Dominique Blackmand and Craig Noble come in.
"I was hanging out with Dominique and we watched their game against Cal and they just dominated that game and it was fun to watch. We were talking about how great it would be to help bring them back to the top of the conference and that's why we're so interested in going there."
Solomon said he didn't have a timeline on when he will make a commitment, but he said it could happen at any time.
"It would be great to have things done before Christmas, but only if I feel the time is right," Solomon said. "This is a big decision and I want to make sure I choose the right school and the right situation for me."
Solomon expects to get his SAT scores next week and currently carries a 3.6 core GPA.
We'll have more from Solomon in the coming weeks.
