Washington trip in the works for Deehan

Washington went after one big-time tight end for the 2007 class (Chris Izbicki) and luckily he was in their own back yard. For the 2008 class, the Huskies have been looking to the Golden State and one of the most talented is Poway TE Ryan Deehan. He's set up three visits and is ready to schedule a fourth and he talked about the recruiting process with

"It's been busy this summer," Deehan said. "We have passing league and then I work out with my teammates at least five days a week and sometimes it's twice a day with throwing and stuff like that. "I'm working hard on my blocking so I can be a full-time tight end, but right now I'm basically a pass catching one."
