Juco DB looking at Washington

In a continuing theme, the Huskies have been entertaining several junior college defensive back candidates hoping to improve the depth in a secondary that was ranked seventh in the Pac 10 allowing 275 yards per game. One player on the Huskies radar is Butte College DB Jameel Dowling. Dowling recently visited Montlake, unofficially, and talked about his season and how recruiting is going.

"I was up (in Tacoma) visiting my mom and so I went to the Apple Cup," Dowling told Dawgman.com earlier this week. "I had never been to an Apple Cup before so it was pretty cool getting to see that game. The crowd was hyped." Dowling is a versatile player because of his size and speed combo.
