Another JC receiver on the Huskies' radar

Maurice Purify update

When former Husky WR Reggie Williams left early to head to the NFL, the Huskies were left without a true big wideout. Sophomore WR Craig Chambers is the biggest receiver on the Husky roster at 6-5, 200 so the Husky coaches are out looking for bigger receivers who can make plays down the field. City College of San Francisco WR Maurice Purify is just one of those players.

"My season's been going good," Purify told Dawgman.com following practice earlier this week. "We're 6-0 right now and we've got a big game this weekend against Butte (College)." In that game Purify and fellow CCSF receiver Aaron Straiten, who spoke with Dawgman recently as well, will face off against Butte CB Jameel Dowling, who is also on the Huskies radar.
