Fall Camp: Thursday Practice Report

SEATTLE - It wasn’t quite lunch, but the Washington defense feasted on turnovers nonetheless. The UW defense had to run gassers at the end of the day as the Huskies’ D created five more miscues on the day. Brandon Beaver had a forced and recovered fumble and an interception, while Connor O’Brien, John Timu, and Travis Feeney all had interceptions.

In a bit of an unusual twist, linebacker Shaq Thompson fumbled on one of his carries. One would assume that meant a poor day for the quarterbacks, but that’s not necessarily the case. Counting up the 7-7’s and final team period, the very, very unofficial completion totals looked like this: Troy Williams - 5/12 with two interceptions Cyler Miles - 11/14 Jeff Lindquist - 6/10 K.J. Carta-Samuels...
