Tacoma (Wash.) Fife offensive tackle Kaleb McGary breaks down junior day visits to Washington and Washington State as well as a new offer from California…

Tacoma (Wash.) Fife offensive tackle Kaleb McGary now holds offers from seven Pac-12 programs. The list includes Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, Washington, Washington State and one new addition.

"California offered me; they said they would like me to come play for them," said McGary. "Florida State is talking to me; I have gotten a couple letters from Nebraska and Ole Miss. Not a ton of recruiting stuff, but it is still going. I am hearing a little bit from Tennessee and Vanderbilt."

The 6'6" 272lbs prospect is also making an effort to see as many college campuses as possible this spring.

"I recently attended the Washington State junior day," said McGary. "I was more impressed than I expected."

What was so impressive?

"Well, just honestly where they could take the program. The potential that it has to grow," said McGary. "The facilities will be great, they have a good coaching staff I believe and if done right could really be something. I really liked the location, it is out in the middle of nowhere, but I like the setting there. Colfax, Moscow and Pullman are like where I grew up. It wasn't a bad trip, it was worth taking."

Pullman wasn't the only visit McGary took in the past couple weeks.

"I was at the Washington junior day as well. I enjoyed that pretty thoroughly. It was very well put together," said McGary. "I am going to do my best to be down at Oregon this spring, maybe for junior day, but I intend to visit there regardless. I would like to see if I could make it down to Cal or ASU as well."

So what is McGary looking for in each of these potential programs?

"It would be a little bit of everything, it needs to have good academics. I need to know if I go there and do the work I will get a degree in something I am interested in. I want to have a career to fall back on," said McGary. "I do pay attention to the campus and the players I know that know more about the schools than I do, as far as campus life goes."

"The surroundings are important, I really like UW… but that is right in the middle of the city," said McGary. "It's not that bad that I can't get away if I need to, but there are a few people there. What I like about Pullman, aside from the nothing on the way out there, was the small town feel. There are not a ton of people, like where I am from. Same with Oregon State, it is beautiful down in Corvallis."

McGary isn't sure which camps he will attend this spring, but does plan on attending some. Stay tuned to for the latest updates on his recruitment.
