Wilcox Named Pac-12 Player of the Week
The Huskies then headed to Stanford with a 65-60 win. Wilcox shot .625 percent from the field and .667 from behind the three-point line for an impressive 27 points on the night, just one shy of his career high. He scored 11 of the team's last 15 points in the game. In addition to his high scoring, Wilcox set a new career-high of nine rebounds.
The sweep over the Cardinal and the Golden Bears was the first for the Huskies since 1985. Washington has started the Pac-12 season with three-consecutive road wins for the first time since 1912.
This is Wilcox's second career Pac-12 Player of the Week honor, earning the first Player of the Week of last season on Nov. 14, 2011. It is the 45th all-time selection for Washington and their first this season.
Washington stays at home this week hosting Colorado on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 8:30 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Networks. On Saturday, Jan. 19 they play host to Utah at 8 p.m. PT on ESPNU.
