Upland (Calif.) defensive end standout Joe Mathis was selected to play in the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in a ceremony held at the high school before the Scots' 57-39 victory over Etiwanda (Calif.).

Mathis, who is one of the top uncommitted prospects on the West Coast and is considering programs including Washington, Utah, Texas A&M, UCLA, Florida State, Alabama, Arizona State, Hawaii, and Nebraska, plans to announce his decision during the game's live broadcast on January 5th.
