Willis, Perkins dismissed from team

SEATTLE - The Washington Huskies suffered more attrition Thursday as two offensive players - walk-on running back Willis Wilson and H-Back/TE Josh Perkins were dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules, the school announced via email. Per the email, neither UW Head Coach Steve Sarkisian nor the University would have any further comment on the matter.

Both the names of Wilson and Perkins have already been taken off the official roster at gohuskies.com.

Wilson, a 5-foot-9, 188-pound RB from Lakes High School, walked on in 2010. With the loss of Deontae Cooper to injury, it was expected Wilson - who earned the Huskies' Brian Stapp Special Teams Scout Player of the Year that year - was expected to compete to possible playing time.

Perkins, a 6-foot-3, 216-pound athlete from Cerritos, Calif., was brought in last year as a receiver but redshirted. He was moved to an H-Back/Tight End position after spring football.
