SEATTLE - The Washington Huskies are expected to have one of the biggest Junior Days ever Saturday during their Spring Game at CenturyLink Field, but that didn't stop the Huskies from getting a jump start on recruiting. Wednesday night Jaimie Bryant, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound OL/DL prospect from Tumwater, verbally committed to Steve Sarkisian and Tosh Lupoi.

"I just committed to Coach Lupoi and Coach Sark," Bryant said roughly 10-15 minutes after making the news known to the Washington coaches. "They were really excited. I'm really excited and so are my parents."

Which side of the ball Will Bryant start out? "Washington is looking at me on the defensive side of the ball," he said.

Bryant is the second in-state recruit to commit to Washington for their 2013 class, following Lakes WR Sammie Long.

We'll have a full impact report on Bryant's commit later on tonight.
