"Honestly, I'm just starting to learn more about the program right now," Lee told Dawgman.com recently. "Coach (Peter) Sirmon is the coach recruiting me for them and I really like him a lot.
"He's told me a lot about the program and how important it is for them to bring in a top tailback and that's what I really am excited about. I know that Chris Polk
went there and just finished up and is going to the NFL. He's from this area, so I know someone who has gone there."
In addition to his offer from the Huskies, Lee has full rides from the likes of Colorado
, Oregon State
, San Diego State
and he recently took in USC
's Junior Day and said they are a school that he is very interested in.
"They seem like they could be close, but I don't really know right now," Lee said. "Growing up, (USC was) the school that I rooted for, but I wouldn't say that if they offer they are my favorite school because the school you root for isn't always the best situation for you.
"My Grandpa is a huge LSU
fan, so that is another team that I grew up watching a lot."
As a junior this past season, Lee totaled over 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns while hauling in 14 receptions for 201 yards and two more scores.
"I have good speed and quickness and I love getting in open space," Lee noted. "I feel like I run a lot like Reggie Bush
and I could be used in the same way that he was at USC."
Lee has legit 4.4 speed, clocking a 10.8 100 meters as a sophomore this past spring.
"I feel like a 10.7 is realistic for me this year or even a little lower, maybe a 10.65 or something," Lee said. "I've been working a lot on my explosiveness this year and I'm lifting five days a week too, just to get ready for my senior year."
While Lee already has a lot of options and more schools could be stepping up with offers soon, he said he's begun to think about what will help him make his decision.
"I want to go to a school with a great Business School, so that's first and foremost," Lee said. "I also want a school with a good Pharmacy School and I may decide to do both so that I could open my own place eventually.
"On the football side, it would definitely be how much they run the ball and if they have a good line. I can be the best back in the world, but if I don't have a good line, I can't do much."
Lee said he hopes to visit Washington
for the Spring Game on April 28th and said he doesn't plan to make an early decision, hoping to take all of his official visits before he'll be ready to commit to a school.
We will have more in the future on Lee as he gets ready to start taking some unofficial visits this spring and will update news as it happens.
