Washington is Reynolds' first offer
"They are my only offer so far, but I have been talking a lot with Oregon and Colorado is also showing me a lot of interest."
Not a lot is known to the public about Reynolds who is just now starting to get his name out there, but with his 6'5", 295-pound frame, he's bound to attract a lot of attention.
"My coaches have told me that I have great 'get off' and all of the coaches recruiting me love my quickness," Reynolds said. "I love to get after the quarterback and when I put that all together, my coaches all said I have a great chance to go anywhere I want."
Reynolds is currently getting his stats and game film prepared to send out to schools and he hopes that more schools will start to show interest.
"I'm open to everyone right now," Reynolds noted. "Washington offering first is a big deal. They have a great program and I love the coaches and coach Lupoi really seems to like me and said I fit perfectly with their scheme.
"I'm still growing too so that is another thing they like about me."
Because of his raw natural abilities, Reynolds is a neophyte in the weight room, but he's been hard at work this offseason to improve his strength numbers.
"I haven't done a lot with weights and lifting and all that, but I am now because I want to get stronger for my senior season and also start getting ready for college too," Reynolds said.
He plans to visit Washington at some point this spring, hoping to take in the Huskies' Junior Day in April, but said if that doesn't work out, he would like to visit in the summer.
"It's so early for me, I just want to see what options I have before I really start to focus on what I am looking for," Reynolds admitted. "I love to play this game and I'm really starting to get into making myself as good as I can be.
"For a long time I just played because I loved it, but now that I know I have a future that has really motivated me.
"I think I'll probably take all of my visits before I decide on a school, but you never know. I could visit a school this summer and decide it's the right place.
"I'll just sorta see what happens when I start taking my unofficial visits."
We will have more from Reynolds in the near future as things continue to heat up for this emerging prospect.
