Suggs Has Bittersweet Homecoming

ST. LOUIS – In an otherwise dreary day in St. Louis, the Washington Huskies could've used 6-foot-6 senior guard Scott Suggs. Suggs, 2008 graduate of Washington (Mo.) High School, garnered Mr. Basketball honors as the state's top player during his senior campaign.

On Sunday, Suggs and his Huskies returned to the Midwest for a homecoming game for not only Suggs, but UW head coach Lorenzo Romar. After a successful career at Washington High School, highlighted by a trip to the Missouri Class 5 state sectional finals, Suggs committed to UW and headed out West as a Top 100-ranked player nationally.
